Six Years of Spreading Goodness with Bennett Media Group

Since its inception five years ago, Spread Goodness Day has set out to change the world, one act of goodness at a time. And as the reach of Anna Dravland’s dream continues to spread far and wide, the impact that she and Spread Goodness Day has had across Marquette County and the U.P. has been immeasurable!
In the summer of 2017, Anna reached out to our team at Bennett Media Group to discuss her vision of bringing a bright, positive light to the community through random acts of ‘goodness.’ For us, it was an immediate ‘how can we help?’
From that meeting on, we haven’t looked back. We have partnered with Anna and SGD in many ways including, video content, web & graphic design, marketing strategies, and more. Being a part of such a great effort has had a ripple effect on the BMG team.
Since joining Anna and her mission, we have implemented a quarterly volunteer project for our entire team to take part in. Past projects have included volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, JJpacks, NTN, Feeding America, supporting local first responders, local beach clean-up, adopting a family at Christmas, and more. This year we will be helping with Connect Marquette’s ‘Every Kid Deserves a Birthday’ Event. It is truly amazing how one simple gesture or act of ‘goodness’ can have a major impact on another person. It has been incredible to see our community change for the better every year on Spread Goodness Day!
